Cheese from Cansiglio
The Cansiglio Dairy Centre produce both fresh milk and cheese made only with organic milk, collected from the associated farms across the Tambre-Spert-Cansiglio Highlands.
The cooperative also operates as a farmhouse, with a White Bar in Pian Cansiglio and twelve en-suite guestrooms in Tambre, a mountain hamlet at the border of the Cansiglio Forest. Guests can access the meeting hall, with its cultural and recreational opportunities, as well as enjoy hearty breakfasts; activities held here introduce visitors to the natural beauties of the area. A real speciality is the Panarello cheese, made with organic milk, reasonably fat but with a particularly thin crust and a sweet'n'fresh flavour.
